Situated along the fringes of the Sholayar forest ranges, the Athirapally waterfalls plunge down from a staggering height of over 80 ft to join the Chalakudy River. The largest waterfall in Kerala, the Athirapally waterfall is an important tourist destination in Kerala.

THEKKADY - PERIYAR

KUMARAKOM

The village of Kumarakom that consists of a cluster of islands is part of the Kuttanad region, the rice bowl of Kerala, and lies 14 km away from Kottayam district of Kerala. This little piece of heaven is situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake, which attains its maximum length and breadth near Kumarakom.

ALLEPPEY

Alappuzha (Alleppey) is fondly called as the Venice of the East, for its maze of interconnecting waterways and channels. Alleppey or Alappuzha as it is known in local language truly lives up to its name! The waterways and channels are best explored in country boats as in Venice.

VARKALA

Varkala, the "new Goa" is a well known beach destination in Kollam. Apart from being a favored destination of beach enthusiasts, Varkala is also a famous religious destination where Hindus perform obsequies for the departed souls

POOVAR

Poovar in Trivandrum is unspoilt and unseen. From the beautiful backwaters to the sandy beach and the sea, Poovar offers the best of everything you could ask for on your holiday! Originally a fishing village, Poovar can be reached only through water. The beach is clean and beautiful however, there are no water sports or beach leisure activities in Poovar because of the fishing activities.

BEKAL

The Bekal Fortwas primarily developed around 1645 AD. The amazing Bekal Fort spreads to north, west, south and the exquisite palm trees to the east. This astonishing place is also home to Chandragiri Fort and Hosdurg Fort. Chandragiri Fort is a unique ruined fort that has coconut trees, view of the picturesque Arabian Sea and situated approximately 6 kms next to Chandragiri River.

CHERAI

Touted as one of the best beaches in the state, Cherai beach is at a distance of only 30 kms from the city of Cochin. Situated on the northern end of the Vypin Island, Cherai beach, which is fondly called the “The Princess of the Arabian sea” extends to over 10 kilometers. The clean sandy beach that is comparatively uncrowded makes it a popular picnic spot for honey moon couples and families alike. Cherai beach is famous for dolphin watching as well.

VAGAMON

agamon is a pretty hill station located in Idukki district of Kerala,. Perched at an elevation of over 1100 meters above the sea level, Vagamon enjoys a pleasant climate all round the year, which has earned the name the 'Scotland of Asia'. National Geographic Traveler has listed Vagamon as one of the '50 most attractive places to visit in India'. It is a popular movie shooting location as well.

WAYANAD

Wayanad, fondly called the ‘green paradise’ is tucked away in the mountains of the Western Ghats. Only a short distance from some of the popular tourist destinations in South India like Ooty, Mysore and Coorg, Wayanad is an easily accessible and important tourist destination in Kerala.

Nelliyampathy

Nelliyampathy is a hill station within the Nelliyampathy Forest Reserve, in the southwest Indian state of Kerala. The road to it, which goes through the dense forests of the Western Ghats, is known for its many hairpin turns. To the west is Kesavan Para, a vantage point with views of nearby tea plantations. Farther west is the 19th-century Pothundi Dam.

Gavi

Gavi is 14 km south west of Vandiperiyar, 28 km from Kumily, near Thekkady. Gavi is inside the Ranni reserve forest. Gavi is a part of Seethathode Panchayath in Ranni Taluk. Gavi is part of the Periyar Tiger Reserve, and the route can be covered by car from Vandiperiyar.

Parambikulam

Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, which also includes the erstwhile Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, is a 391 square kilometres (151.0 sq mi)[2] protected area in Kollengode Block, Chittur taluk in Palakkad district of Kerala state, South India. The tiger reserve hosts many capacity building training programmes conducted by Parambikulam Tiger Conservation Foundation in association with various organisations.[
